Ultrasound Leak Detection Introduction & Sensor Training
Abstract:
The presentation will include three components to provide an understanding of ultrasound leak detection technology and its benefits to NASA. First, there will be an introduction to the science behind ultrasound leak detection. Second, a review of CTRL's UL101 ultrasound detector for use and operation and a brief history since its launch in 2001. And finally, there will be an introduction to CTRL's newest generation of ultrasound leak detection for 24/7 monitoring with mounted sensors.

Benjamin Fried is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, product development, and organizational leadership. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CTRL Systems, Inc., Benjamin drives strategic initiatives, overseeing domestic and international sales while advancing innovative ultrasound solutions for condition-based monitoring and leak detection.
His career spans roles in product development, customer training, and marketing strategy. Benjamin has been instrumental in evolving CTRL Systems from a product-focused to a solutions-oriented organization, increasing market penetration and customer satisfaction. At Brimrose Corporation of America, he led global sales and marketing teams, spearheaded IT and quality assurance initiatives, directed R&D initiatives for the market, and advised on compliance with international certifications.
Benjamin is deeply committed to integrating faith, family, and work, fostering growth in both personal and professional spheres. He has also served as a board member for The Bartimaeus Project, a nonprofit supporting visually impaired orphans through life-changing surgical interventions and adoption advocacy.
A graduate of Messiah University with a BA in Mathematics, Benjamin was actively involved in varsity basketball, lacrosse, and campus radio. He also pursued advanced studies for Program Management in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
