Orbital Case 07D: Sphere with Drag and 8x8 Gravity Model
Orbital scenario 7D tests a sphere undergoing effects of an 8th order gravitational model along with third-body perturbations and aerodynamic drag.
Constants and Models
This scenario uses an orbital spheroid body model, specified here. The MET atmosphere model defines atmospheric properties based on time, position, and solar effects specified here. The gravitational model order used was an 8x8 gravitational model, specified here. The geodesy model used for this scenario is the WGS-84 rotating model, specified here.
