Orbital Case 09A: ISS Being Torqued with Zero Initial Rates

Orbital scenario 9A tests an idealized International Space Station with zero initial inertial rotation rates while having a 10 N-m torque (positive body x-axis) applied at t = 1,000 sec for a duration of 1,000 sec.

Constants and Models

This scenario uses an idealized International Space Station vehicle model, specified here. The MET atmosphere model defines atmospheric properties based on time, position, and solar effects specified here. The gravitational model used was an inverse-square gravitation field, specified here. The geodesy model used for this scenario is the WGS-84 rotating model, specified here.
