Orbital Case 08A: ISS in Free Rotation with Zero Rates
Orbital scenario 8A tests an idealized International Space Station with it's initial rotation rates [1] set to zero with respect to the inertial.
Constants and Models
This scenario uses an idealized International Space Station vehicle model, specified here. The MET atmosphere model defines atmospheric properties based on time, position, and solar effects specified here. The gravitational model used was an inverse-square gravitation field, specified here. The geodesy model used for this scenario is the WGS-84 rotating model, specified here.

[1] Page 84, Section C.2.16, Paragraph 1, line 3, change "the orientation and rotation rates were set with respect to the inertial" to "the rotation rates were set with respect to the inertial" since orbital initial condition tables still specify body attitude with respect to the LVLH frame despite the scenario description: Volume II Report ↩︎
